The fine print for an open-source funding platform that ships real software under MIT License.
OurCodeFund.com (the “Platform”) is an open-source funding pipeline where originators pitch a project, backers pledge in tiers (Genesis Seed, Anchor, Tagalong, Promo Banana), and successful campaigns ship a public V1.0+ drop under the MIT License.
By accessing the Platform you agree to use it for its intended purpose: proposing, reviewing, and funding open-source software. No scraping, no load-testing without notice, no resale of access. We reserve the right to revoke access for users who attempt to abuse the Spark intake endpoint or the Round-Table swarm.
Full terms will be published once the V1.0 public release is cut. Until then, the rules on this page are the rules of the road.
Your virtual wallet holds a USD-denominated balance used for refunds, surplus, and the dynamic anchor refund pool. Pledge tiers are denominated in USD cents. 1 Banana Buck = 1 USD cent for display purposes; all settlement math is done in integer cents to avoid rounding drift.
Stripe is the default payment gateway. Coinbase Commerce and direct crypto are supported but optional per campaign.
If a campaign does not reach its dynamic anchor threshold, the protocol refunds genesis pledges automatically. Every campaign also carries a $15.00 replenishing bug fund, deducted only against accepted bug tickets.
All V1.0+ campaign drops are released under the MIT License. The OurCodeFund Platform source itself is also MIT. No campaign may ship under a more restrictive license without an explicit, documented exception.
